Mysore/Mysuru: Renowned musician Vid. Saitejas Chandrashekar will be presenting a Karnatak Vocal Concert at the heritage house of Mysore Vasudevacharya near Agrahara in city on Mar. 24 between 10.30 am and 1 pm.
He will be accompanied by Vid. Arjun Dinakar on violin, Vid. G.S. Nagaraj on mridanga and Vidu. Sumana Chandrashekar on ghata. The event is open to all music enthusiasts.

Vid. Saitejas: The first and the only person in the world performing Karnatak Concerts on the harmonica, Vid. Saitejas is also an established vocalist. He had training in vocal music for over 20 years and is currently training under Vidu. Rupa Sridhar, a disciple of Anoor Ramakrishna and Vidu. M.L. Vasanthakumari. Trained also in Hindustani semi-classical music and tabla under Pandit Vishwanath Nakod, he has been an Empanelled Artiste of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and a graded artiste of All India Radio (AIR). He has performed all over South India and has won many awards.
Violinist Vid. Arjun Dinakar, a student of Vid. H.K. Narasimhamurthy and Dr. R.N. Taranathan, is a graded artiste of AIR Bengaluru.
Mridangist Vid. G.S. Nagaraj, trained under Vid. H.L. Gopalkrishna, Vid. B.N. Chandramouli and under Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr. Thiruvarur Bhaktavatsalam, has been into classical music for over 30 years. He has performed concerts in prestigious Sabhas and venues all over India and abroad. He has many awards and recognitions.
Vidu. Sumana Chandrashekar is a ghata player and a Karnatak vocalist. A student of first woman ghata player Vidu. Sukanya Ramgopal, she has received training in vocal music from Vidu. Rupa Sridhar. Sumana has performed on the ghata in prestigious venues and festivals across the country and at the International Frame Drum Festival in Freiburg, Germany.
