Vidu. Bhramari Shivaprakash to present Bharatanatyam at Ganabharathi

Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised Bharatanatyam programme by Vidushi Bhramari Shivprakash at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Adichunchanagiri Road, Kuvempunagar, on July 4 at 6 pm. The programme is sponsored by Ravi Bale couple.

Profile: Vidushi Bhramari Shivprakash is an artiste recognised in the field of classical Bharatanatyam through her study based creative dance programmes. She has been a disciple of Vidushi Guru Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy for the past 26 years.

At present, she is involved in art activities through a cultural organisation called Nadanritya School of Dance and Cultural Trust, Mangaluru, also conducting dance classes. She has choreographed and acted in about 20 different Kannada literary works based on Senior Stage Director Prof. Udyavara Madhava Acharya’s plays.

Vidushi Bhramari has presented more than 20 solo dance dramas including Panchali, Urvashi, Hamsanada, Deva Yani’s soliloquy, Sita’s soliloquy, Kodanda’s solo dance plays and many more. She has been awarded Ph.D by Manipal Vishwa Vidya Nilayam. Along with this, she is also working as a guest lecturer at Manipal University Arts Department. She is a Junior Fellow of the Union Ministry of Culture. She has been recognised widely in the field of art.
