Mysuru: The State- level Inter-Collegiate Commerce and Management Fest ‘Vidwath 2k19’ organised by the Department of Commerce and Management, Vidyavardhaka First Grade College (VVFGC), Seshadri Iyer Road, will be held on Mar.1 and 2 at P.M. Chikkaboraiah Hall in the College premises.
Addressing a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan, College Principal Dr. S. Mari Gowda said that the College was also conducting series of year-long programmes as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations.
G.S. Raghavendra, Founder-Director of Geloof Industries Pvt. Limited, Bengaluru, will inaugurate the fest at 10 am tomorrow. City Police Commissioner K.T. Balakrishna will be the chief guest. Vidyavardhaka Sangha Hon. President Gundappa Gowda will preside. Hon.Secretary P. Vishwanath, Treasurer S.N. Lakshminarayana and VVFGC CMC Chairman T. Nagaraju will be the guests of honour. Cultural programmes will be held in the evening.
Valedictory will be held on Mar. 2 at 4.30 pm. University of Mysore Registrar Prof. Lingaraj Gandhi will be the chief guest. Winners of various competitions in the cultural event will be given cash prizes, awards and trophies.
