Mysuru: Vijaya Vittala Composite PU College at Saraswathipuram has achieved 98% in Science and 93% result in Commerce respectively in the II PU examinations held this year.
In Science, out of 297 students, 154 have secured distinction, 131 first class, 5 second class and 1 third class. In Commerce, out of 89 students, 19 have bagged distinction, 46 first class, 12 second class and 5 third class.
Y.R. Prajwal, son of Y. Raghu and K.R. Mala of Kuvempunagar, scored 593 out of 600 and has stood first for the college by scoring 100 in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science.
Anantha N. Rao, son of S. Narayana Rao and V. Lakshmi of Kumbarakoppal has scored 590 out of 600 and stood second for the college by scoring 100 in Mathematics and Computer Science.
In Commerce stream, Apoorva B. Rajeev, daughter of B.S. Rajeev and Gayathri Rajeev has scored 586 out of 600 and has stood first for the college by scoring 100 in Sanskrit, Economics, Business Studies, Computer Science and Accountancy.
