Mysuru: In the context of the election campaign to be undertaken by C.H. Vijayashankar, Congress-JD(S) coalition candidate tomorrow in KR Constituency, the JD(S) and Congress activists of KR held a meeting at Chikkammaniketana Kalyana Mantap in Kuvempunagar here this morning.
Addressing the party activists, former MLA M.K. Somashekar said that Vijayashankar will participate in a road show to be taken out tomorrow in KR Constituency. He asserted that both the coalition parties would campaign jointly in favour of Vijayashankar.
Former MyLAC Chairman H.A.Venkatesh said that the coalition was determined to keep communal force like BJP at bay. He observed that BJP had literally become Modi’s party being a one-man-show with no recognition or respect for other senior leaders. Leaders H.V. Mallesh, former Mayor Narayana, former Chairperson of State Women’s Commission Manjula Manasa and others were present.
