Mysore/Mysuru: The Ministry of Tourism has launched the ‘Dekho Apna Desh People’s Choice Poll 2024’ to identify the most preferred tourist attractions and destinations of the country.
Through this nationwide poll, the Ministry aims to engage with citizens to identify the most preferred tourist attractions and tourist perceptions across 5 tourism categories — Spiritual, Cultural and Heritage, Nature and Wildlife, Adventure and any other category.
The ‘Dekho Apna Desh People’s Choice 2024’ campaign is one of the various initiatives and projects, launched by the Prime Minister for the promotion of domestic tourism. To participate in the campaign, citizens can share their votes at https://innovateindia.mygov.in/dekho-apna-desh/
Participants must select at least one attraction they have already visited from any of five categories and choose at least one attraction that they wish to visit in the future. The Karnataka Government has urged the people of Mysuru to vote for the tourist destinations in Mysuru.
The Government will prioritise the most voted destinations to develop the destinations of People’s Choice in mission mode and contributing to the country’s journey towards ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’.
