209 cases booked, Rs. 35,150 fine collected, 252 vehicles seized on Friday
Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysuru City Police, who are acting tough on COVID guidelines violators have seized a total of 252 vehicles found moving unnecessarily besides registering 209 cases and collecting a total of Rs. 35,150 as fine on Friday.
During the operation, the Police seized 214 two-wheelers, 15 auto rickshaws and 23 cars across the city as they were found moving unnecessarily thus violating the rules.
Also, cases have been booked against chicken and mutton stalls at Udayagiri and against a garment shop owner at Mandi Mohalla for conducting business during COVID Curfew hours, according to a press release.
