Mysore Medical College Alumni Association (MAA), as a part of Mysore Medical College (MMC) Centenary Celebrations, will be conducting a felicitation ceremony ‘Vishishta Seva Puraskaar’ at the new academic block, at the college premises on July 14. All MMC alumni, including former and present Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Vice-Chancellors, IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and KAS officers, former DMEs, Directors of MMC, Directors of Health & Family Welfare (HFW), ESI and former MAA Presidents, will be felicitated on the occasion.
The programme will be inaugurated by Social Welfare and District in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa. The event will be presided by MLA K. Harishgowda. Bengaluru Rural MP Dr. C.N. Manjunath, MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah, Koodligi MLA Dr. N.T. Srinivas, RGUHS VC Dr. M.K. Ramesh, Adichunchanagiri University VC Dr. M.A. Shekar, RGUHS first VC Dr. Kantha S. Jadav, RGUHS former VC Dr. Chandrashekar Shetty, MMC&RI Dean and Director Dr. K.R. Dakshayani, MAA Hon. President Dr. C.D. Sreenivasa Murthy, President Dr. H.N. Dinesh, Secretary Dr. H.B. Shashidhar, Treasurer Dr. A.S. Sarvesha Raje Urs, Executive Committee members, faculty members, urdergraduate and post-graduate students will take part in the event.
