Vishwaprasanna Teertha Swamiji’s Chaturmasya Vrata from July 3

Mysore/Mysuru: Pejawar Adhokshaja Mutt Seer Sri Vishwaprasanna Teertha Swamiji will undertake Chaturmasya Vrata from July 3 to Sept. 28 at Srikrishnadhama in city.

The Seer will arrive in the city at 4.30 pm on July 2, when he will be given a warm welcome and taken in a grand  procession to Srikrishnadhama.

Mysore royal family member Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar will inaugurate the programme, which will be presided over by K.R. MLA T.S. Srivatsa.

Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda will be chief guest.

The procession will be taken out from Saraswathipuram Fire Brigade Junction to Krishnadhama, accompanied by a host of folk and cultural troupes.

The Seer’s Chaturmasya Vrata will begin at Krishnadhama from July 3, during which he will perform pujas at Sri Rama-dhama, Sri Vittaladhama, Sri Venkatachaladhama, Uttaradi  Mutt, Jayalakshmipuram Ragha-vendraswamy Mutt and T.K. Layout Raghavendra Mutt.

During the Chaturmasya, there will be bhajans at 5.30 pm, followed by Bhagavata discourse, Ramayana discourse and cultural programmes, according to a press release.
