Vocational training for female journalism students

Karnataka Media Academy has invited applications from female Post-Graduate degree holders in Journalism for vocational training in Print and Electronic Media.  The training programme is conducted under Women Specific Budgetary Scheme for two months. 15 female candidates will be selected based on their marks and interview. The applicants must have basic computer knowledge. Selected candidates will be provided a stipend of Rs. 15,000 after the training programme.

Applications from candidates who have already received benefits from the Department of Information and Public Relations, Karnataka Media Academy, Government or Private organisations are not entertained. Candidates who forge the details regarding the benefits received from the Government earlier and re-applying for the training programme will be booked under criminal case.

Interested may submit their applications along with scanned copies of SSLC marks card, Degree and PG certificates, passport size photo and other documents in PDF format and e-mail to: wbkma2022@gmail.com or by post before Jan. 29.
