Mysore/Mysuru: As part of taking a vow seeking fulfillment of various demands including marriage of young farmers, the Karnataka State Vokkaligara Yuva Vedike will take out a 3-day padayatra from Mysuru to Adichunchanagiri in Nagamangala taluk of Mandya district from Dec. 8.
Addressing a press meet here yesterday, Vedike Founder-President H.L. Yamuna said that the padayatra will commence from Kempegowda Circle (Manipal Hospital Junction) on Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway at 7 am on Dec. 8. The padayatra will reach Adichunchanagiri at 10 am on Dec. 10, where vows will be taken, praying for marriage of young farmers, good rainfall, welfare of the people etc. at Kalabyraveshwara Kambadamma Gangadharaswamy Temple.
Also the deity will be prayed seeking justice in Soujanya rape and murder case that took place near Dharmasthala 12 years ago,Yamuna said adding that people from all communities and all walks of life can take part.
