Mysore/Mysuru: As per the direction of the Election Commission of India (ECI), the voters list revision has begun in Chamundeshwari Assembly segment of the city. The drive will continue till Oct. 31, during which the eligible voters can add or delete names, make corrections or take transfer to other booths.
Accordingly, youths who attain 18 years of age as on Jan. 1, 2021, can include their names in the voters list by filling up Form-6 along with self-attested copies of necessary documents.
Likewise, Form-7 is meant for dropping of names, Form-8 for corrections in voter details and Form-8a for transfer to another booth in the same Assembly segment.
The Mysuru Taluk Tahsildar has, in a press release, said that the voters of Chamundeshwari Assembly segment, who have already registered, are required to get confirmation on whether their names are included in the new voters list. In case they do not find their names, the eligible voters have an opportunity for re-inclusion of their names.
