Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, had organised six-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Design Thinking for Product Development’ from Apr. 15 to 20 in association with IEEE Power Electronics Society, Bangalore Chapter and VVCE ISTE Chapter.
K.S. Sundar, Associate Vice-President, Infosys, was the chief guest.
Gundappa Gowda, President, Vidyavardhaka Sangha (VVS), Srishaila Ramannanavar, Treasurer, VVS, Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda, Principal, VVCE and Dr. K. Gopala Reddy, Head of the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, presided over the inaugural session.
Faculty from various Universities and Colleges across the country took part in this event.
The participants delved into the fundamentals of design thinking, ideation, model-based systems engineering, prototyping and testing processes of various products.
Through hands-on activities, collaborative sessions and industry visits attendees gained invaluable insights and skills to foster innovation and enhance product development strategies.
