VVCE student bags first place in Natl. contest

Mysore/Mysuru: S. Sumana, a Computer Science Department student of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, has bagged the first position in the “General Electric Healthcare Programming Challenge”, one of the country’s prestigious competitions run by the General Electric (GE) company.

“More than 50,000 students from various IITs and Universities participated. In the most difficult rounds, our student came first by showing her innovative methods and problem-solving skills,” said Prof. M.R. Pooja, Head of the Computer Science Department, in a press release.
