Mysore/Mysuru: K. Dhasharathi, 1st year student, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVIET), Mysuru, has secured first place for presenting Hexacopter Drone (UAV) in the Model Presentation Competition at JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru, in the National-level SCI-TECH FEST 2.0 held on the occasion of National Science Day on Feb.28.
Haripriya Shivakumar, 2nd year student, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Bharat Kumar Siddappa, 2nd year student, Department of Computer Science & Engineering at VVIET, have secured second place in the Model Display Competition held at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus on Feb. 27.
This project was guided by Dr. Bindu A. Thomas, Professor & Head, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, VVIET, Mysuru. The students displayed the model titled “BoRobot,” a rescue robot which can save the lives of children falling into open borewells.
