Mysuru: Nyayamrutham Cultural, Heritage and Educational Foundation Trust, Mysuru, will be conducting a 3-day 482nd Vyasaraja Aradhana Mahotsava from Mar. 31 to Apr. 2 near Srinagar Residents Welfare Association office at Srinagar in city.
The rituals and cultural programmes will take place under the guidance of Vyasaraja Mutt (Sosale) Seer Sri Vidyamanohara Theertha Swamiji and Sri Vidyasindhu Madhava Theertha Swamiji. The rituals will begin with Phalapanchamrutha Abhisheka on Mar. 31, following which the programmes will be inaugurated at 10 am, with a discourse by Vadirajachar of Mantralaya’s Gurusarvabhouma Vidyapeetha.
City Scholar S. Prabhanjan Bharadwaj will be conferred ‘Vidyanidhi’ award, while Bengaluru’s Cultural thinker and columnist Dr. Gururaja Poshettihalli will be conferred ‘Dharma Pracharaka Payonidhi’ award on the occasion.
Later, Vidwan B.R. Srinidhi will present a Karnataka Classical Music Concert at 5.30 pm, during which he will be conferred ‘Sangeetha Prasanna’ award.
‘Madhyaradhane’ programme will take place in the morning of Apr. 1, with the performance of Phalapanchamrutha Abhisheka to Mruttika Brindavana.
The stage programme will take place at 5.30 pm, during which there will be discourses. Vidwan Satyanarayanacharya of Ballari will be conferred ‘Madhwa Vedanta Varidhi’ award, while Vidwan Kallapura Pavamanacharya will be conferred ‘Vyasa Dasa Pravachana Ratnakara’ award on the occasion.
