Mysuru: The Command Area Development Authority (CADA) Assistant Agriculture Director has asked all the Water Consumer Co-operative Societies to hold Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) 2016-17 by Sept. 25, 2017 and submit a report in this regard.
The Director has, in a press release, said that the audit report of the previous year must be presented and approved at the AGM.
Those Water Consumer Co-operative Societies, which have not amended their by-laws as required by the amended Co-operative Act, are required to get the amended by-laws approved at the AGM and forward the same to CADA for approval, the release added.
Agastya Co-op. Society: The AGM of Agastya Credit Co-operative Society Ltd., Krishnamurthypuram, was held at Sarada Vilas Centenary Hall recently.
Meritorious children of Members of the Society, who scored high marks in SSLC, PUC, Music and Bharatanatyam (2016-17), State and National-level Medal Winners, were felicitated along with the Society’s senior members G. Natarajan, N. Gopal, Venkataram, Shankar Puranik and C.V. Indiramma and three current Directors of the Society.
Society President S. Ramakrishna presided. Vice-President N.S. Murali, Secretary N. Keshavachandra, Legal Advisor Shashidhar and others were present at the meeting.
