Mysuru: The Mysuru chapter of National Real Estate Development Council (Naredco), under Naredco Foundation, will launch ‘Swachh Cauvery’, a socio-environment project to join the battle against water shortage and unhygienic water.
As a prelude to ‘Swachh Cauvery’, Naredco has organised a ‘Water Conservation’ presentation by Ayyappa Masagi, a Jamnalal Bajaj award winner of Water Literacy Foundation, at Hotel Roopa Elite in VV Mohalla, at 7.30 pm today.
Ayyappa Masagi, who is considered a “Water Warrior” for India, has helped create countless solutions to India’s water scarcity problem. He has been nicknamed “Water Gandhi” by villagers on the Karnataka-Andhra Pradesh border, says N. Divyesh, Convenor of Naredco, in a press release.
