Mysore/Mysuru: The IEEE Student Branch and the Department of EEE, NIE Institute of Technology (NIE-IT), Mysuru, had successfully organised Live Webinar on ‘Electronics: The future of our generation’ recently by Dr. B.D. Parameshachari, ACM Distinguished Speaker, Professor & Head, Dept. of TCE, GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru.
The session commenced by welcoming the panel members, resource person and participants by M. Lokesh, Coordinator of the Live Webinar. Webinar was graced by Dr. Bansilal, Principal, NIE-IT and Dr. N.V. Archana, Professor & Head, Department of EEE, NIE-IT, Mysuru.
Dr. Parameshachari started the session with the introduction to electronics, need of electronics for our future generation, developments in electronics and emerging technologies.
He also emphasised on pros and cons of the past, present and upcoming technologies.
Dr. Parameshachari gave the insights about what after degree? — the opportunities in IT sector, core sector and Government sectors. He explained how the students should prepare and build skills to face placement drives and any public sector exams. He concluded by highlighting the scope of electronics and without electronic gadgets, our daily lives cannot happen.
The webinar was attended by more than 70 participants from Department of EEE, NIE-IT, Mysuru.
