Webinar on ‘AI Decision System’

Mysore/Mysuru: The Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Mysuru Centre, had organised international webinar on ‘An AI Decision System for Secure Cyber Network Architecture’ on Nov. 17.

Dr. Neal Wagner, Complex Systems Scientist at Systems and Technology Research, Massachusetts, USA, was the chief guest. Prof. C.R. Nataraj, Chairman, IETE Mysuru Centre, Dr. S.R. Bhagyashree, Vice-Chair, IETE Mysuru Centre and Dean (Research) & Professor, Department of ECE, ATMECE, Mysuru, Dr. B.D. Parameshachari, Hon. Secretary, IETE Mysuru Centre, ACM Distinguished Speaker and Professor & Head, Department of TCE, GSSSIETW, Mysuru, Prof. Shashidhara S. Gokhale, Hon. Treasurer, IETE Mysuru, EXECOM Members of IETE Mysuru Centre and participants from various colleges attended the webinar.

Session was commenced by welcoming the speaker, panel members and participants by Greeshma, student, Department of TCE, GSSSIETW, Mysuru. The introduction of chief guest was done by M.R. Prarthana, student, Department of TCE, GSSSIETW, Mysuru. Webinar was coordinated by K.M. Rajesh, Asst. Professor, Department of TCE, GSSSIETW, Mysuru.

Dr. Neal Wagner highlighted the insight about cyber defence — attack mitigation, protection from being attacked, Network level protection methods — Network Segmentation and Limiting workstation to workstation communication. Dr. Neal Wagner briefed about Cyber Risk Modelling and Simulation Components — Defender’s network is protected by Segmentation architecture, Defender’s communication restricted, Defender’s enclaves periodically cleansed.

The Session was concluded by thanking the participants by Shaiqa Afeef, student, Department of TCE, GSSSIETW, Mysuru. The Master of the Ceremony was done by Ayushi Sharma, student, Department of TCE, GSSSIETW, Mysuru. 

The webinar was attended by more than 100 participants from all over the country.
