Mysuru, Nov. 10- Chairman of Karnataka State Western Ghats Task Force, Shantheyan-da Ravi Kusha-lappa will tour Mysuru District on Nov. 11. He will visit the Hunsur BJP Office first at 10.30 am tomorrow.
At 11 am, he will hold a meeting with the Deputy Commissioner, MLAs, Forest Department, Social Welfare Department and Pollution Control Board officers at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Bhavan. He will discuss the issue of letting out sewage and other waste to Lakshmanatheertha River in Hunsur and also find ways and means to prevent pollution and reuse water.
Later, Ravi Kushalappa will hold a meeting with Forest officials and tribal community leaders on the shifting of tribals from the Nagarahole Tiger Reserve and also measures taken to rehabilitate them.
