What ails electricity supply in some areas of Mysuru?

Sir,

It has been very obviously observed that at least three times a week from morning 11 am till 5 pm or 6 pm there is no power supply in Lakshmipuram.

Most often out of 10 calls hardly 1-2 calls get answered. The standard answer is cable laying work is going on and since it is unscheduled we don’t notify.

June 22: 11 am till 5 pm; June 24: afternoon till 4 pm; June 25: 11 am till 6 pm – no power; June 27: 1 pm to 4 pm; June 29:12 noon till 5 pm (just called to get the timing confirmed) no power.

Unfortunately we as consumers find it very difficult to manage the gadgets and specially when the lockdown was there, to store items in refrigerators.

Can the CESC look into these and let us know how many more weeks this will continue?

Besides these power cuts, every time it rains there are further unscheduled power cuts.

How can we expect Mysuru to be Smart City if a basic need of regular power supply becomes very regularly irregular?
