Sir,
In my earlier letter that was published in this column, I had brought the issue of iron pipes being offloaded on service road probably for piped gas connections and observed that the newly tarred service road adjacent to Ring Road in Kanakadasanagara would be dug up.
As anticipated the road has been dug to lay the lengthy iron pipes underground and the process is still ongoing leaving the service road that was newly tarred in an ugly crater and mud filled road.
Now the question is who is going to repair and re-tar the road — will it be done the company that is laying pipes underground or the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) or the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA)?
If it is to be done by MCC or MUDA, have they collected money from the company towards the expenses of relaying the road if not then tax-payer’s money is going to be spent.
