Will adopt KSES to prevent malpractice in SSLC, PUC exams: Tanveer Sait

Mysuru: Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Tanveer Sait said that the Education Department is prepared to conduct SSLC and PUC exams.

Speaking to press persons here yesterday, Sait said that this time the Department has adopted the Karnataka Secure Examination System (KSES) in order to prevent malpractices and other lapses and added that the parents and students need not bother about the process of examination.

Conceding that the examination had several lapses since many years, the Minister said that this time all the problems have been solved.

Pointing out that all 788 PU exam centres across the State will be under CCTV Camera surveillance, he said that SSLC exams will commence from Mar.23 and concludes on Apr.6.

Similarly, PU exams will begin from Mar.1 and concludes on Mar.17. The results of both the exams would be announced by April end, the Minister added.

Tanveer Sait further said that the PU Education Department has taken all necessary measures to ensure no question paper leaks and even the teachers have assured to co-operate for valuation.
