Mysore/Mysuru: Nanjangud BJP MLA B. Harshavardhan has said, “I am facing the election after releasing a white paper on development works of all villages in the Constituency. Eventually I will bow to voters verdict.”
Speaking during his campaigning at Devarasanahalli, Hosur, Uppanahalli, Madralli and Gunathagala villages in Nanjangud taluk yesterday, Harshavardhan said “It’s the dream of MP V. Sreenivasa Prasad (Nanjangud falls in Chamarajanagar Parliamentary Constituency limits that is currently represented by BJP’s Sreenivasa Prasad) to develop Nanjangud as a satellite town and to realise the dream, people should bless me with victory again.”
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be campaigning in Nanjangud on May 6 and former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa too will address a public meeting in the town. I am extremely confident that the people won’t leave me in the lurch for the extent of development works undertaken in the Constituency. Hence my victory is guaranteed,” said Harshavardhan.
BJP Nanjangud Taluk President P. Mahesh, BJP State leader Subbanna, former ZP Member S.M. Kempanna, leaders Guruswamy, Mahadev, Suresh, Govardhan, Patel and other leaders were present at the campaign meeting.
