Win prizes at IIT Guwahati Annual Fest

Mysuru, Mar.6- A total of 49 students from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), JSS Science & Technology University (JSS STU), participated in the recent annual fest conducted by IIT Guwahati-2018 and won eight prizes in various competitions.

Total of  90,000 student participated from 450 Colleges and Universities across India. JSS STU was the only University from south India to participate and emerge as winners in this four-day cultural extravaganza.

The prizes were awarded in the following categories to the JSS STU: 1st prize in Classical Solo Dance (M.J. Jahnavi); Group Dance and Street Play; 2nd  prize in Voice of Alcheringa (Vaishnavi Datta), Dancing Duo (M.J. Jahnavi and M.J. Namratha), Graffiti (Apoorva Joshi), Roadies (Karan Gowda) and Face Painting (Arun Bangera). The teams of 49 students was accompanied by Prof. R.K. Bharathi and Prof. B. Manjunatha from the University.
