Mysuru girl Prasiddhi Bhat with 7 points from 7 rounds, clinched the title in the Mysore District Chess Association (MDCA) Open U-18 Chess Tournament 2019, held at the University Lions Hall premises here yesterday.
Abhinayak (6), M.G. Prameeth (6) and M.N. Eshanvi (5) secured second, third and fourth places respectively.
Prizes to the winners were given away by M.P. Ajith, Krishnamurthy and Shivarame Gowda (Hon. Secretary, MDCA).
