Mysore/Mysuru: Following are the winners of Short Film Contest organised by Dasara Film Sub-Committee:
‘Namma Police’ directed by J. Pradeep Kumar – First prize.
‘Aryapatha’ directed by K.H. Raghu – Second prize.
‘Varna’ directed by Vishnu V. Raman – Third prize.
‘Manaviyate’ directed by R. Satish Achar and ‘Chiguru’ directed by M. Santosh Kumar – Consolation prizes. A total of 31 Short Film applications were received for the contest out of which four were rejected.
The prize-winning Short Films were screened at Rani Bahadur auditorium in Manasagangothri premises today and certificates were also distributed on the spot, said a press release from Dasara Film Sub-Committee Member-Secretary and Department of Information and Public Relations Assistant Director T.K. Harish.
