VR Football Club, Mysuru, won 1st place with cash prize Rs. 55,555 along with the attractive trophy in the South Zone-level Floodlight 5s Football Tournament which was held at Siddartha High School Ground in Gandhi Nagar, Mysuru, recently. The Tournament was conducted by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Football Club.
KD Football Club, Bengaluru, won 2nd prize with cash Rs. 33,333, along with an attractive trophy; Vijayanagar Football Club won 3rd prize with cash of Rs. 11,111, along with a trophy.
Yogith Gowda and Ranjith were adjudged best players of the Tournament.
The prize was distributed by International Athlete and Superintendent of Customs M. Yogendra and Club President S. Puttaswamy, both were felicitated on this occasion. Former Mayor Daskhinamurthy, Corparator Dr. Ashwini Sharath, Railways Chief Ticket Inspector K. Gururaj, Lohith, Maja Talkies Jagappa, Vishal Raj, Madhan, Club Secretary K. Vishwa Raj and Treasurer K. Hema Raj were present on the occasion.
