The taekwondo players from Mysuru, taking part in the 7th State-level Taekwondo Championship held at Kanteerava Stadium in Bengluru recently, excelled by winning three gold, three bronze and a silver medal in various categories. H. Yadavi, S. Shri (both U-10 category girls and boys respectively) and H. Samarath (U-18 boys) won gold medals while J. B. Shraddha won silver in U-14 category and V. Harshan (U-12), B.M Bharathi (U-18 girls) and Mourya K. Gowda (U-18 boys) won bronze medals. The taekwondo players were trained by Eklavya Award winner S. Naveen.
