Mysuru, Feb. 4- Dr. K.S. Raghunandan, Guest Faculty, Post-Graduate Department of Zoology, Maharani’s Science College for Women, Mysuru, was awarded 1st prize — Best Oral Presentation Award — for research article titled ‘Study on Avifaunal diversity in and around Kalale Lake, Nanjangud Taluk, Mysuru District’ presented on the occasion of ‘World Wetland Day’ at Prof. U.R. Rao Auditorium, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan Road, KSTA, Bengaluru, on Feb. 1 and 2, organised by Karnataka Science and Technology Academy (KSTA), Department of Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka at Bengaluru.
Prof. A.H. Rajasab, Chairman, KSTA, presented the award in the presence of Dr. R. Anand, Chief Executive Officer, KSTA, V.K. Srinivasu, Senior Scientific Officer, KSTA and Umesh Ghatage, Scientific Officer, KSTA.
Dr. Raghunandan is the son of Subbanna and M. Nagarathna.
