Mysore/Mysuru: In the State-level co-curricular activities competitions for primary school teachers for the academic year 2025-26, organised by the Karnataka State Teachers’ Welfare Fund and the Department of School Education and Literacy, T. Satish Javaregowda, a teacher and litterateur from the Government Higher Primary School, Mellahalli, Mysuru taluk, won the first prize in the Extempore Speech.
A dynamic teacher, an effective orator and a creative poet, Satish Javaregowda has been selected to the State-level five times consecutively from Mysuru district.
In the previous year’s State-level extempore speech competition held at Shivamogga, he had secured the third prize.
He received the first prize comprising a cash award of Rs. 5,000 and a certificate of merit from dignitaries. Block Education Officers M. Prakash and Krishna, District Akshara Dasoha Officer Shobha, High School Head Masters G. Venkatachala and Suresh, Lecturer Shashidhar, Nanjangud taluk BRC Nagesh, Subject Inspector Chandrashekar and others have congratulated him.
