Mysuru: Abhignan Vedant Bhushan, a Class 3 student at Excel Public School, Mysuru, has won first place in Kumite in the State-level Mysuru Dasara Karate Championship held at Maharaja’s College Indoor Stadium in city recently in U-9 years category.
He also won second place in individual Kata category in the competition. He is being trained by Muneendra.
Son of renowned Bharatanatyam artiste couple Badari Divya Bhushan and Dr. Anjana Bhushan, Abhignan is also pursuing Bharatanatyam and often performs with his parents and elder brother Abhyuday Dhyan Bhushan.
