Sir,
We, the residents of Janahitha Sangha Layout, Bogadi 2nd Stage South, Mysuru, located in the area overlapping Wards 44 and 45, are deprived of basic civic facilities.
The main road, approximately 800 metres long, was dug up for underground drainage (UGD) work nearly 12 months ago but is yet to be asphalted. Other roads under Ward 44 were asphalted long ago, but not this main road.
This road serves hundreds of houses in Janahitha Sangha Layout and CFTRI Layout, as well as school children’s cabs and senior citizens.
Even though our MLA, G.T. Devegowda, performed a ‘guddali puja’ for re-asphalting this stretch on March 11, 2024, the contractor has not completed the work, even after five months.
We therefore request the authorities concerned to address this issue promptly and ensure that the residents can enjoy a better quality of life.
