Mysuru: A woman has accused her childhood friend of raping her and has lodged a complaint at Udayagiri Police Station.
The complaint has been lodged against 30-year-old Balaram, a resident of Jayalakshmipuram in city and an employee of CFTRI.
The woman has lodged a complaint against Balaram accusing him of raping her and cheating her in the guise of getting married.
Udayagiri Police have registered a case under IPC Section 376 (rape), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 417 (cheating).
