Mysore/Mysuru: Rachana Mahesh, Founder, Edukare ITES &Womencan Trust, Mysuru, delved into the qualities to be acquired to be an entrepreneur.
She was speaking during an interaction programme on ‘Entrepreneurship Opportunities & Challenges’, organised by the Department of Business Administration and IQAC in association with Women In Small Enterprise (WISE), a women wing of Mysore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) at SBRR Mahajana First Grade College in the city recently.
Rachana elaborated on steps to be taken in order to run a successful business & also touched upon the importance of having a strong mindset while venturing into entrepreneurial space.
VarshithaRukmangada, Managing Director, Hotel Kalyani, Mysuru and alumnus of the college, touched upon the importance of being dedicated and focused on goals by narrating her successful story in the hospitality industry. She highlighted the significance of facing adversities while working and explained about the rising position of women in industries all around the world, including the most challenging workplaces.
This was followed by a brief interaction session, where both the speakers answered various queries on entrepreneurship from the audience.
SanjanaShakhapur, a student of second year BBA, welcomed and introduced the guests.
In all, 98 students were present on the occasion.
Dr.VijayalakshmiMuralidhar, Hon. Secretary of Mahajana Education Society, Dr. B.R. Jayakumari, Principal of SBRR Mahajana First Grade College (Autonomous), Dr.Shyla, HoD, Business Administration, were present on the occasion.
