Mysuru: Take all measures to successfully implement ‘Mukhyamanthri Anila Bhagya’ scheme to provide LPG connections to all families in the district, said District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa here yesterday.
Addressing a meeting with the district-level officials at Government Guest House, Mahadevappa said that those having Aadyatha and Anthyodaya Ration Cards were eligible for the scheme and instructed the officials to select a total of 6,322 beneficiaries in the first phase after consultations with the respective MLAs by the end of November. The beneficiaries have to pay Rs. 4,040 for the new LPG connection which includes Rs. 1,450 as LPG cylinder deposit, Rs. 150 towards regulator deposit, Rs. 190 for Suraksha Hosepipe, Rs.50 for DGC book, Rs. 100 for inspection and installation, Rs. 1,000 for two-burner gas stove, Rs. 1,100 for two full cylinders. District Administration has selected 174 beneficiaries from Mysuru, 33 from H.D. Kote, 2,187 in K.R. Nagar, 3 in Hunsur, 952 from Periyapatna and 2,972 from T.Narasipur.
