Mysuru: Sree Cauvery First Grade College (FGC), Kuvempunagar, hosted a one-day National-level Workshop on the topic ‘Education Capacity Building and Research for SDGs’ at its premises recently.
Dr. R. Jagadeesh, Professor of Management Studies, inaugurated the workshop. The first session was on the topic ‘Role of Higher Education in Trade and SDGs Awareness’ by N.V. Sindhu, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce, GFGC, Kuderu, Chamarajanagar. The second session was on ‘Research and Innovation in Sustainable Finance’ by C. Chandrashekar, Asst. Professor, Presidency School of Commerce, Presidency University, Bengaluru.
K.M. Padmavathi, Principal, Sree Cauvery FGC, welcomed. M.A. Naveen Chandra, Chairman of Sree Cauvery Education Council, delivered the inaugural address. K. Ravi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce and Administration, proposed a vote of thanks. I.G. Kashiappa, Hon. Secretary, Dr. N.B. Suresh, Hon. Treasurer, Sree Cauvery Education Council and Dr. C.E. Subramanya, Administrator, Sree Cauvery First Grade College, were present.
