Mysuru: The Department of Library & Information Centre, NIE-IT, has organised a workshop on ‘Information Literacy for Academic Research and Publication’ on Jan.30 at its premises. The objective of this workshop is to give in-depth knowledge about the search strategies in Google and Google scholar and also regarding the use of reference management tools.
Prof. T. Ananthapadmanabha, Principal, NIE-IT, will preside.
Dr. M.V. Sunil, Librarian, SDM – IMD, Mysuru, will be the chief guest. U. Ushamani, Librarian & HoD, NIE-IT, is the Convener while N.R. Ramachandra will be the Co-Coordinator of the event.
Library Professionals, Faculties from academic institutions, PG students and research scholars may attend.
