Mysuru: A two-day workshop on rescue and relocation of snakes titled Scientific Training on Reptile Management (STORM) has been organised on Dec. 15 and 16 in city.
Leading herpetologists, Gowri Shankar and Snake Shyam will conduct the workshop. Those above the age of 18 years can participate.
This workshop is beneficial for snake rescuers, reptile enthusiasts, students and those who would like to learn more about snakes.
Participants get to interact with experts on snakes in India. The workshop also aims to inculcate soft skills, ethics behind snake rescue and communication skills among participants which will eventually train them on the right methods of snake rescue.
