Workshop on ‘Trends in Literature Search and Research Reporting’ held

Mysuru, Apr. 25 (KS) – Sree Nataraja Post-Graduate Centre and Sree Nataraja Residential First Grade College for Women, Mysuru, had jointly organised a day-long workshop on ‘Trends in Literature Search and Research Reporting’ at its seminar hall  here recently.

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Satyanarayana, Dean, Department of Commerce and Management Sciences, Sarada Vilas College.

Dr. Ramasesh, Retired Librarian, University of Mysore, was the chief guest. Dr.V. Chandrasena, Co-ordinator and HoD, Sree Nataraja PG Centre and N.G. Lokesh, HoD of Commerce, Sree Nataraja Residential First Grade College for Women, were present. The event was presided by Principal Dr. M. Sharada.

In the first technical session, Dr. Ramasesh spoke on the topic ‘Academic Performance Indicators.’ Dr. R. Pavan, Assistant Professor, Sree Nataraja PG Centre was the Rapporteur.  In the second session, Dr. Ramasesh spoke on ‘Information Sources for Research.’ Dr. H.S. Srikanth, Assistant Professor, Sree Nataraja Post-Graduate Centre, was the Rapporteur.

The workshop concluded with valedictory function which was presided by Dr. Chandrasena. N.G. Lokesh, Head, Department of Commerce and Prasad Murthy, Vice Principal, Sree Nataraja Residential First Grade College for Women were the chief guests.  Certificates were distributed to the participants.
