Mysore/Mysuru: Kumar Performing Arts Centre (KPAC) has organised the 38th International Nirantara Kalemane Festival on the occasion of World Dance Day on Apr. 21 at Kalemane Sabhaangana in Hebbal 2nd Stage here at 2.30 pm.
Vidushi K. Gayathri, Founder & Director, Kala Sindhu Nritya Shale, Mysuru, Dr. B.V. Geetha, Guest Faculty, Department of Performing Arts, Bangalore University and Dr. Radhika Ranjini, Guest Faculty, Department of Performing Arts, Bangalore University, will be the special invitees.
The performances of the evening include Bharatanatyam recitals by Vidu. Suma Krishnamurthy, Director, Lalithashree Academy, Bengaluru & disciples; Divya Prashanth, Founder & Director, Noopura Nrithyalaya, Mysuru and disciples; Vidu. Saloni Jagadish of Sri Durgaparameshwari Nritya Nikethan, Bengaluru & disciples; Vidu. Shweta Raghavendra of Aanandi Nrutya Shale, Bengaluru; Disciples of Karnataka Kalashree Dr. K. Kumar, Founder & Director of KPAC.
The evening will also feature Mohiniyattam by Guru Maalika Panicker, Founder & Director Naatyam Maalika, Singapore.
