Mysore/Mysuru: World Pharmacists’ Day was celebrated at Cauvery College of Pharmacy at its premises in KBL Layout, near Deve Gowda Circle on Sept. 30.
K.R. Nagar MLA S.R. Mahesh, who was the chief guest, inaugurated the function. In his address, the MLA said that Pharmacists are the bridge between the doctors and patients who play the keyrole in patient care.
Cauvery Group of Institutions’ Founder and Chairman Dr. G.R. Chandrashekar, in his Presidential address, appreciated the contributions of pharmacists to the society and also asked the students to make use of their student life to develop skills to compete with the global challenges.

Earlier, Principal of Cauvery College of Pharmacy Prof. Vishakante Gowda delivered the welcome speech. Professor Dr. Manjunath proposed a vote of thanks.
