Mysore/Mysuru: Renowned writer Rugmani Prabhakar underlined the importance of concentration, patience, and staying updated with current developments for writers. She shared these insights during her talk titled “To cut a long story short – the making of an anthology” held during the afternoon session on the final day.
Reflecting on her younger years, Rugmani recalled how her mother, unlike other mothers who sent their children to tennis or dance classes, had the foresight to enrol her in typing class. While initially finding it challenging, she eventually grew accustomed to typing, which may have sparked her interest in literature.
Regarding her book ‘Relationship Saga,’ Rugmani mentioned that it was a collaborative effort involving like-minded authors. The book exemplified teamwork and collective creativity.
The panel discussion also featured other writers, including Siddharth Prakash, Pratima Rao, Nilanjan Choudhuri, R.R. Cherla, Kalyanaraman Durgadas, and Murali Murti. Each writer shared their unique experiences and perspectives on the art of writing.
