Yakshagana ‘Maruthi Prathapa,’ directed by Keremane Shivarama Hegde, will be presented by Sri Idagunji Mahaganapathi Yakshagana Mandali at Sri Krishna Gana Sabha in Gokulam at 6 pm today (May 7). The programme is organised in memory of late M. Govinda Rao and late D. Rama Bai, parents of Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy, Managing Trustee, Mangalore Ganesha Beedi Works, Mysuru. On this occasion, Jois Kala Prathistana’s Namratha Jois will be honoured with ‘Udhayonmukha Yuvaprathibe’ title.
