The Department of Kannada and Culture has invited applications from SC/ ST youths to undergo 5-month Yakshagana training and stage performances under Karnataka Yakshagana Academy’s Special Component Plan and Tribal Sub-Plan. Training will be provided in various forms of Yakshagana art like Tenkuthittu, Badaguthittu, Mudalapaya, Kelike, Ghattadakore, Gombeyata and Talamaddale. Interested youths may obtain the applications at the Office of the Assistant Director, Kannada and Culture, in their respective districts and submit the filled-in forms at the Office of Karnataka Yakshagana Academy, Kannada Bhavan, Second Floor, Chalukya Division, J.C.
