Mysuru: With an objective of highlighting the failure of the State Congress Government, State BJP President and former CM B.S. Yeddyurappa will undertake ‘Janasamparka Abhiyana’ campaign in the district tomorrow (June 11).
Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, District BJP President Kote M. Shivanna said Yeddyurappa will begin his campaign by garlanding Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s statue at FTS Circle on Mysuru-Bengaluru Road at 9 am. Yeddyurappa will later have breakfast at Dalit leader Narasimhamurthy’s residence at Kurimandi Kesare at 9.30 am. He will later interact with Dalits at Kurimandi Maidan, following which he will visit Pinjarapole at the foot of Chamundi Hill at 11 am, from where he will go to Shettanayakanahalli in Yelwal Hobli and interact with farmers at 12 noon. Yeddyurappa will thereafter have lunch at the residence of local leader Chidambara at Yelwal, after which he will leave for Hunsur, where he will address a public rally at 3 pm. Former Minister Aravind Limbavali, MPs Pratap Simha and Shobha Karandlaje will accompany Yeddyurappa.After the rally, Yeddyurappa will return to the city and take part in the BJP workers meet at J.K. Grounds.
Chamarajanagar tour: Yeddyurappa, who will also tour Chamarajanagar district, will arrive in the town at 8.30 am on June 12 and launch his district tour by planting a sapling in front of Government Polytechnic, said Chamarajanagar District BJP President and former MLC Prof. K.R. Mallikarjunappa. Yeddyurappa will continue touring the State till June 28.
