Mysuru: The Sixth Additional District and Sessions Court has postponed the judgement in the Yelwal cash loot case to Dec.26. The Judge, who heard the arguments on Dec.23, was supposed to pronounce his judgement but postponed the same to Dec. 26.
Bail plea hearing of accused in KHB scam on Dec.26
Meanwhile, the Third Additional District and Sessions Court has postponed its judgement with regard to the bail plea of the five accused in the Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) scam to Dec.26.
Judge Sudheendranath, who was to pronounce the judgement when the bail plea petition came up on Dec.23, postponed the same to Dec.26.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths, who are probing the scam, recorded the statements of the farmers and the witnesses yesterday.
While KHB Assistant Executive Engineer M.B. Somashekar, Assistant Engineer M. Mahesh and three middlemen who are allegedly involved in the scam are in Judicial custody, MLA G.T. Devegowda’s son G.D. Harish Gowda and brother G.T. Yaduvar, whose names have figured in the scam are reportedly absconding.
