Mysuru: As a prelude to International Day of Yoga-2025, ‘Yoga Pranotsava-2025,’ a two-day State-level Seminar on ‘Yoga Pranayama’ has been organised by Scientific Pranayama Foundation Trust (SPFT), Mysuru, at GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW) on KRS Road in Metagalli, Mysuru, on June 19 and 20. The seminar is organised in association with ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru, RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru and Indian Yoga Association, Karnataka.
Announcing this at a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan in city recently, Dr. Devaki Madhav, Founder-President, SPFT, said that the Seminar will be inaugurated at 9.30 am on June 19. Squadron Leader Paridhei Singh Karthik, retired Pilot, Indian Air Force, will be the chief guest. Yogamitra Dr. A. Subramanian, Secretary, Indian Yoga Association, Karnataka and Dr. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, will be the guests of honour. Dr. Rajashekhar Reddy Poreddy, Neurosurgeon, Cancer Care India, Bengaluru, will preside.
Valedictory of ‘Yoga Pranotsava’ will be held on June 20 at the same venue at 9.30 am. Swami Mahamedhanandaji, Correspondent, Ramakrishna Institute of Moral and Spiritual Education (RIMSE), Mysuru, will be the chief guest. Dr. Seethalakshmi, renowned Yoga Researcher and Educator and Dr. L. Basavaraj, Principal, ATME College of Engineering, will be the guests of honour.
On the occasion, ‘Prana-Tattva Vikasa,’ a Yogic Dance-Drama directed by Dr. Tulasi Ramachandra, Director, Nrityalaya Trust, Mysuru, will be presented.
