Karnataka Sanskrit University, Bengaluru, Trinethra Mahanta Shivayogi Ashram, Srirangapatna and Government Ayurveda Research Centre, Mysuru, will be jointly organising Yogotsava- 2024 at Chandravana Ashram in Srirangapatna on May 14 at 7 am under the theme ‘Yoga for Women Empowerment’ as a prelude to International Day of Yoga to be held on June 21, 2024.
Yogotsava-2024 aims to introduce simple yogasanas to general public, especially women, children, senior citizens and yoga enthusiasts. Bebi Mutt Seer Sri Trinethra Mahanta Shivayogi Swamiji will grace the occasion. Mandya Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kumara will inaugurate the event. Mandya SP N. Yathish, ZP CEO Sheikh Tanveer Asif and Additional DC Dr. H.N. Nagaraj will be present on the occasion. Sanskrit University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ahalya will preside.
